having first time issues with my 1994 classic subaru. went to the petrol station filled her up then as i drove to my girlfriends it wasn't booting properly. i then went shopping cam back and it started...spluttered..then stalled. turned ignition over again...same thing. third time - it wouldnt even turn over!

any suggestions? no loose cables or pipes as far as i can see. what would anyone suggest getting checked first?

First things first, check the connections on the battery are on tight.
