just found out the spec-c has a automatic function for the i/c sprayer, whats the need for this, is it for high boost temps?? if so is there a kit that can be brought to do this?

 

It can be programmed to come in at a certain boost pressure I think. Don't know if you could buy a kit for it, it might be EMS logic specific to the JDM Spec C ECU? Doesn't the UK car have an 'automatic' button next to the intercooler spray button?(I've never been in a UK car)

 

Auto I/C spray comes on the JDM cars only, it is not exlcusive just to the Spec C. It is controlled via the ECU and activated when certain condtions are met.

They are engine rpm, inlet temp and road speed.
