I managed 358bhp out of one
Not going to go too deep into it before the "that's BS" brigade turn up. But I had a RR figure done before a rebuild (328bhp) and then after the rebuild with the addition of 1mm oversize pistons, parallel fuel rails, 740cc injectors, FMIC and an Apexi PowerFC.
The VF28 was screaming its **** off at 1.6bar though.
Both runs were done on SC's rollers.

Have a look at my plus profile, I got 309bhp with supporting mods out of my old MY99
But if I did it again I wouldn't do things like the hoses and would probably go for a hybrid front mount and larger injectors.

TBH try not to aim for a power figure as I aimed for 330bhp and missed by 20bhp, was I upset???? not at all, as the car drove so well, my advice would be, stick a decat, 3 port boost solenoid and vf28 with a decent panel filter and enjoy the car.
a UK classic with a VF** and remap is a completely differnt animal to a standard UK.
Just watch you don't blow the gearbox by aiming for too much power as every other component will be under more stress as the torque levels increase.
