Was wondering if you could help.....

Is it possible to put an "03" EU STI engine into a "02" EU WRX without buying or modifying the harness?

I've heard that the STI engine has some sort of CAM control issue when doing this but not 100% sure of the situation.

I thought it was a simple plug and play issue with the addition of the STI ecu but im not sure now.
