Default v3 heads?

would like to know if the sti version 3 head comes with hydraulic lifters of shim types? and also are they easy to replace? how much are the parts gonna cost? do you also need to pull out the head or can it done just by removing the cams n springs?

STi 3+4 have Inner(under bucket) Shims - they can be done in situ by removing the cams but is a right PITA to do - much easier with the engine out.
