Default Decat down pipe

Going to have a go at fitting this myself. My cars a 1995 WRX. I've been told the bolts will be a pain. Main question is is there a gasket between turbo/down pipe? Also I can't see from the top whether I've got a exhaust gas sensor fitted. The down pipe is tapped for one. Seen from other threads that some people close them off. Any help greatly apprieciated. Cheers Tim.

Done mine on my 99 car. I can have the d/p off in 30 mins now as things aren't seized and I 'know how.'

It's quite simple but ensure you have the correst sized sockets/tools and soak all nuts/bolts a day before in WD40 before you start the job.

There is a gasket between the turbo and d/p. Mine was fine and I haven't needed to replace it.

There is a 02 sensor in the d/p and possibly a cat on fire sensor in the earlier cars. My 02 sensor was seized in and it ruined the thread when removing it.

Also yours probably has no turbo heat shield which will save you time.
