Default Road Cambers.

I have driven the same road for ages, but now the road cambers seem to pull my car all over the shop, especialy when accelerating. I have had a look under the car nothing seems amiss. I have not moded the car recently either. She is getting old though, a 97 RA. Any theories?

Myn slightly does this, I just put it down to r888 tyres and certain road surfaces. Had 4 wheel aligned carried out with no difference.

On another note what steering geometry settings are people using? Just front toe really, mainly road but some track use.

Dont know if I am just looking for ghosts now, but there does seem to be some play in the steering wheel. Nothing exccesive maybe 10mm, I don't know if it was there before. Could this be down to bushes or the steering rack, or is 10mm acceptable, Am I clutching at straws? How much would a new steering rack cost roughly if I was to replace it? I was concidering relacing all the bushes anyway as I have seen a complete set for £300.

Just had new tyres fitted so it's not them, the camber thing started before the tyres went on. Thanks for the replies all the same.

I have spent some money today to try to solve this camber problem. I have got hold of some sti struts (to replace the Zeal ones I have fitted) , bought new bushes for the entire car, also a new set of wheel bearings, vented discs and red stuff pads are on the way. Got the whole lot for £900.

Anyway this post is for tips on fitting any of the above mentioned parts, what problems might I come across, is removing the old bearings a pain? expiriances and tips much welcomed.
