Default De Cat implications ??

I have purchased a full decat exhaust system for a classic WRX Turbo.
Once fitted what are the implications with reference to performance?
Do I need re-mapping ?
Need I do anything ?

please help

Also can anyone comfirm the factory BHP for a JDM WRX Turbo Saloon, 2.0L non STi.

Decat will give earlier spool up
Remap will get the most out of it but you don't really need one at the mo ,imo.
