Default clocks

Hi all,

Ive a my93 wrx import with 110mph clocks and was wanting to fit 180mph import clocks from another wrx is it just a matter so swapping over the clocks or will they not read the speed correctly.

Cheers

Drew

first is your car still limited to 112mph ?

if yes, you can delimit it with the following part:

Ebay Item number: 230291345733

That will let the car go past 112mph, and yes you can fit the 180mph clocks

Unusual as i though the clocks would read 180kmh (both sets of mine do).

If you do have to change them then i would surmise that any cable driven speedo would work

i have a 93 wrx too with same clocks but my clocks are reading totaly wrong.

when its saying 50mph i'm hitting near 80mph in real speed.

my other scoob has 180mph dials which if i fitted those faces to my dials would read about the right speed so would i just need to swap my dials for some 180mph ones?

For some reason your speedo head has the convertor on (which should be used with the 180 dials for the correct readout). Don't know why, therefore, you have the 110 dial fitted

So, yes, if you fit 180 dial, then the speeds will read correct
