Ive an Afterburner Vortex full system, decat downpipe,centre section and rear silencer has anyone ever had theirs noise tester if so what did it make..?

Decat up pipe, decat down pipes, afterburner centre pipe, afterburner backbox @ 114db

 

im running the same, damn!! thats me not doing a trackday with a 98db restriction

 

114 I meant the afterburner exhaust not the afterburner on the Euro fighter...

My cousin has a red 04 blobeye WRX with the same system as me (he copied) and was pulled over on police/VOSA check. He was then driven to a garage and the Db test was 114db. Has a correction notice to prove it. And to top it all off, he was in the local paper, pics and all.

 

I have an afterburner decat down pipe mid pipe with the resonator and afterburner back box on a classic, at my last track day it was 105db,with the bung in it made 90db but the car felt restricted.

 

I had it tested and it came out at 96db

Unless the noise meter is fooked..
