hey eveyrbody i done few bits and bobs on my car
its a turbo 2000 97 r reg
gota fmic,walbro,440cc injectors,vf23 turbo,apexi fc re-maped n everything
but now i was wodnering if i want more power wat do i do?
and also if i want a re-built what wud i need 2 do and is there any special versions in need.
also when poeple say re-built what do they refer to ask doing a engine rebuilt

your limiting factor is going to be the injectors and turbo. depends on how much more power you want but next step would be 550cc injectors and a TD05 turbo. Above 350bhp its a good idea to fit forged pistons so if youre wanting more still you might as well go for a full forged rebuild including rods and crank but this costs anything from about £3k+ unless youre handy with the spanners

Don't forget the box/clutch too,some people get away without changing it,others don't.

fing is my uncle n dad n me r good wid the spanner so im lookin to buy a engine n do everything myself re-build but dunow aengine 2 get or wat i need coz i do want big power

worth checking out a 2.5 conversion for bucketloads of torque or big power can be had from a 2.33 deck

enthing i can do to a 2.0l or not im double minded shud i buy a block n work on it myself if so wat block to buy ?
