Default Central Locking not working (MY95)

Hi,

I have a problem with my central locking on my Jap Impreza WRX (MY95), it has not worked since I got the car. My original thoughts were that the alarm fitters had messed with it but after some investigation this weekend it looks like this is not the case.

I started check that both the drivers & Passenger doors have central locking solenoids and they do, the next thing I found was the door lock timer in the passenger foot well just right of the glove box. I unplugged the unit to see if there was any live feed going to this, I could not find any.

Should there be a live feed to this? Does anyone know where I will find the fuse for this?

I’m also looking for a wiring diagram for the central locking, also a diagram of the fuse box layout saying which fuse is which.

Thanks for taking your time reading this & I hope there is someone able to help me with this.

Richard

I had this problem with mine, doors wouldnt lock or unlock with te alarm but all locked ok with the drivers door lock. It turned out the £5 door lock motor on the drivers door had gone down. might just be worth checking that?
