Question De Cat for a classic, pro's and cons?

thinking of getting a downpipe de cat for my import classic 95

it currently has a hks superdragger system, (came on the car and not actually inspected to see if its cat back or removed one cat?

anyway what pro's and cons are there from fitting a de cat down pipe?

is performance in anyway improved? but i am more interested in getting an awesoem scooby sound that people can hear a mile away! lol

good idea bad idea?

comments please guys!

Thanks

Terry

Pro's potential for more power with accompanying mods.

Con's, noise, economy, overboost, MOT, roadside tests.

import only has 1 cat in the downpipe.
With the SuperDrager exhaust it's pretty fecking loud my mate had a decatted 94 wrx with one on it and it was offensive even when pottling around imo).
MOT well it depends when it was registered to get away with not having a cat.
Easy solution (although more expensive) is a sports cat.
