Default turbo whine/noise??? not a leak!!!!

the car in question has a vf22 on it, it holds boost well and there is no smoke and no leaks. but the turbo has a quite loud whine down when the engine is turned off?? is this ok or not???
no other probs just the noise, the car is my bro,s and he has only had it 3 months but i think it has always done this since he has had the car.

The VF series are roller bearing turbo's (as scooby350bhp says) therefore the noise is perfectly normal.
I have a VF28 on my RB5 and when I first started it up after fitting the turbo I was also concerned especially on wind down as it is a very noticeable winning noise.
