Import/UK part numbers-do they differ ?

Import/UK part numbers-do they differ ?
Is there a different set of part numbers for JDM cars as opposed to UK ones ?
The reason I ask is that I want to replace the top and bottom radiator hoses on my 1998 Foresetr T/tb auto import. I have a part number of 45167FC010 for the top and 45169FC010 for the bottom hose although I am not 100% certain that these are for the T/tb. The top hose is marked 'EPDM 86 TS', can't see the marking on the lower one. One local main dealer said that his system did not recognise the numbers. Two others did contact Subaru UK and got back to me to say that the part number for the T/tb did not match a UK part number and they would have to order from Japan.
Similar story from an independent dealer, order from Japan.
Surely they can't be that unique ?
Any other ideas as I have now run out of them ?
