Exclamation COOLER THERMOSTAT - ARE THEY AVAILABLE ???

I had my Apexi PowerFC mapped last night by JGM... thanks a lot Simon, awesome job!

Simon did say that my coolant temp got a bit higher than normal (although it did actually decrease as the boost increased). Apparently, it's okay but for peace of mind he recommended a cooler opening thermostat. I think he said that they open at 71deg C compared to the OEM's 79deg.

Does anyone know where I can get hold of one to fit the early 92-96 v1/2 EJ20G engine's thermostat housing?

Cheers, John

No, didn't Google it at the time - too busy. It was quicker to post a thread knowing
I'd no doubt get proper recommendations re. availability/best prices, etc.. After all, isn't that what forums are good for?

No, uprated (inc. ZeroSports branded) ones do open at 71deg C, std ones at 78.
