Default EQUAL LENGTH HEADERS

Hi All
I am looking at some equal length headers that do not have the sensor input on the front drivers header corner but do have the input on the uppipe.
Which is the most 'important' sensor ???
Can I leave out the current uppipe sensor and put the current drivers side sensor into the new headers uppipe sensor hole
Hope this makes sense
Dave

there is only one sensor fitted the the headers mate and none in the up pipe, or at least thats how my 2 scoobys are fitted. i'm guessing they put the unput on the up pipe to fit the sensor that should be in the header

Some have a hole in the up pipe for the exhaust gas temp sensor.

Does there not need to be any sensors connected then ??
Will it run correctly with no sensors fitted, Has Apexi ECU fitted and still has standard MAF sensor, I will of course have it remapped after fitting headers
Car does not have a cat and does not need one for MOT

no mate your getting confused, you will 100% need your oxygen/lambda sensor (same thing)

this measures the air/fuel ratio it dont matter if its located in the headers,up pipe or cat down pipe but you need it in the system somewhere, as far as i know this is the only sensor that is needed to run the car properly.

Your right I am confused
If the headers come and only have the 1 input on the uppipe (I can see this input on the pics) I will put the sensor that is currently in the front drivers side corner header into this input on the uppipe, In the end it is in the same piece of tube just a foot nearer the turbo
