Hi guys

I have found the same problem with the engine when warm (cold start is great as engine earthed and a voltage stabilzer fitted), haven't tried to change anything as I thought it was just down to heat soak into the fuel rails, top mount, air intake etc... due to the boxer design. Never had a problem with ordinary four pots.

If changing the plugs or anything else works plese post up as I would be interested.

warm start issues are usually cam or crank sensor.. try cleaning them both, it is a short term solution but shows if you are in the right area.

crank sensor i believe, as it happened with mine, only ever on warm starts, wasa complete pig at the time, but soon sorted thankfully.

sorry if im wrong but in your title it says lazy not none start or hard to start.

cheak the battery/starter motor connetions for corriosion etc and all earths failing that borrow a starter of someone and try it.

I had same symptoms on my MY95.

Starter motor was changed, turned out to be crank sensor.

Five minute fix, hard to diagnose!
