Default Does it matter what valves I get?

I need to replace a broken exhaust valve in my import 1997 ver4 wrx sti wagon.
There is no other damage, the whole engine has been checked.

Does it matter if I get a wrx exhaust valve, or is it different to the sti version? I know sti's have higher spec internals...so are the valves higher spec too?

The valves are different on the WRX and STi.
The STi exhaust valve is marked EH and the WRX will have either EDN for UK spec or E281/282/283 on the earlier Hydraulic heads.
Get in touch with David @ API Engines with the Valve code as he normally keeps them in stock.
