Depends what the pipe is made of, where it is, how much pressure it works at etc. Need more information.

ok, out driving, on sunday night and car lost power, check engine came on coasted it to side of the road, let it cool down for 10min (had a cig) restarted it after checked engine, it starts, but after 5-10 seconds it cuts out, unplug the maf and it starts and drives likes nothings wrong, not wanting to drive it with out the maf got a tow truck,

Maf is only 3months old, rang clinic up were the maf is from, they said i can swap it out, but it will be more like a pipe has come off or split, had a very good look last night and took the intercooler of and cant find any pipes that have come loose or looks damaged.
