Default Panel filter or induction kit?

Have a my99 impreza with full decat and green panel filter. Will i achive anymore performance if i fitted the aps wing mounted induction kit?

Your panel filter does the same job in a round about way -pulls cold air from the wing. Fitting the ASP kit involves recalibrating the maf or a tweeking the map if you have a mappable ecu.

As above, but be very careful fitting an IK on a MY99/00 they have notoriously weak MAF's. You won't get any performance increase just a little more induction noise. IMHO it's better to stay with a good panel filter.

stay with ht epannel unless you will be fitting a fmic then it has to go

Until what power can you use the standard airbox with an uprated airfilter?
And which one is the No.1 for the MY99/00?

I would go for a panel filter too.

Think its safer. And i dont like the sound of these open filter systems
