Default Knocking sound

Hi I have just noticed a Knocking sound coming from the boot area drivers side! I have taken everything out of the boot but I can still hear it. The car is a STI 2006. although it is not that loud it can be annoying. I have just had a 30000 mile service where they checked the suspension Has any one else had a similar problem or is it just me?
Do you think I should take it back to subaru as it is still under warranty?
Cheers for any help GONZO

The rear suspension struts are prone to failure. I'm sure pretty much everyone with a newage has had this. I've had 3 n/s/r and 2 o/s/r.
Take it back to the dealer.

Cheers Matt I spoke to a dealer today and he is going to have a test drive with me next Wednesday so he can hear the noise.
He would not say what he thought it could be with out listening to it first.
Is it the shock that's failing? already had one of the fronts done as they said it was leaking.
