Default Intercoolers

im new to owning a subaru and have a few questions about the intercoolers on them. I am after power mods for the engine and was wondering if it makes much of a difference to front mount the intercooler or leave it standard because of the bonnet scoop.
Cheers

Mat

top mount intercoolers are good for upto 400bhp anything after that fmic would be the way to go,if you have a wrx, then the STi intercooler is a good upgrade but you would need the bonet vent and undertray too for the best result/airflow

As mentioned above it really depends what model you are talking about. The early slanted ones aren't as effective as the later ones.
