hi can anyone tell me which car a w6ecu is from?

so would that be ok for a 94 import (saloon) with td05 turbo?

well it was one of the ecus fitted as standard to 94 wrxs (td05 turbo is standard) up until Sept 94 when they changed over to the superior Z4 ecu.

Best to get an ecu that is mapped for the td05 choices are

WRX/STi Saloon ECU's 2C, U8, W6, W9 - As above, 11.47psi held to redline. Fuel-cut 14.57psi (240ps=236bhp)
WRX (1995/96) ECU Z4 - 12.71psi, dropping to 11.78psi @ 6600rpm. Fuel-cut 15.65psi (260ps=256bhp)

think 6k and 7k may even be suitable.

or try PolarPerformance for a chip that can be placed in your original ecu (some people like the chip some don't)
