Took my 01 bugeye to have a rolling road diagnostic check today (erratic boost and lack of power) and was told it "might" be a blocked or damaged up pipe cat. Last week i removed the downpipe cats and this improved things a bit.
Has anyone else had this problem, if so did removing the up pipe cat help?
Any help greatly appreciated.

 

well on the wrx it has a pre cat in the uppipe, these can break up. what does it boost to?
