Default Classic won't run

Car will fire up and not run. There's fuel coming out of fuel filter. Any ideas?

Have you checked for spark???

Could be lots of things........a little more info would help.

I was driving it yesterday and it just cut out and would not start. It starts today but wont run. It actually runs for a few seconds then dies. I thought it was a fuel problem at first but not sure now. Gonna try and find the error codes. It's a Dec 98 'S' reg classic, not sure what MY it is. Cheers.

Maybe a stuck idle air solenoid? Try starting it while keeping the throttle open.

It could be that you have fuel, but not enough fuel to keep it running i.e. pump or pressure related.

It seems to be pumping through the fuel filter ok. I reckon it could be the maf sensor as the error code says 23?
