got a 1993 or 4 scooby
has a 2.2 none turbo. lump in.
think wiring loom is still the original 1.6 that was in as well as the ecu but am not sure. the car will run but is very lumpy at low revs and is all over the place at idol high and low and missfires when reved.
new plugs and leads done.
inlet has an automatic choke and two other sensors attached to the throttle body one doesn't look like it fits/ inlet side sensor and it has 3 wires. some on other models have 4. which is right for the engine.
would like proceedure if i was to convert the engine to 2.2 as i'm on verge of starting wiring loom from scratch with a second hand 2.2 one from scrap yard. or do i not have to go to this extent please please please help
