up-pipe question on a wrx MY04

Default up-pipe question on a wrx MY04

I have a 2004 wrx wating to de-cat the up pipe should i :

get a after market one (hayward & scott, perrin)

or get the standerd STI one that is de-cated

witch one? any pros and cons of either

I would go for the STi one. It will be a closer match to your oem headers and turbo. The H&S ones, although extremely well made, are 2" IIRC and you will lose the rapid spooling characteristics of the TD04.

the set up iv got waiting to go on is

td05 16g
pink injectors
3" system with sports cat
sti tmic

just stuck on the up pipe, i was thinking the STI would be better?
