Default H & S Downpipe on a classic type r

Hey guys...

Need a bit of advice, I have just fitted a H & S down pipe along with a Trust power extreme 2 exhaust system (Sounds the dogs ) To my wee classic 97 Type R 2 door and I noticed on the downpipe that came off there are 2 ports, one for lamda and the other a temp sensor I think, The new down pipe has only 1 port for lamda so what should I do with the other sensor, I currently have it connected to the car but obviously not to the system so its just tied up out of the way...

Also...

Would I need a map to go with the system or will the standard ecu map + octane booster be enough to stop the det???

Many thanks and its good to be back in Scooby land

Also should I fit a boost controller, afr and fpr??? The down pipe is a bell mouth and from looking about on the forums people say I need a boost controller, Could someone explain what I need and why as I used to think I knew what I was talking about but it would appear I sure dont lol

Leave the smaller 2nd connector disconnected its just a tempreture sensor, as for the AFR controller, boost controller etc, the amount of money envolved in buying, fitting and setting up u are better off splashing out on a apexi power fc ecu and getting mapped properly first time round
