Just had the blitz nur spec system put on with the baffle removed on my 99 turbo, amazing sound but it seems to be popping really loud and it's doing quite reguarly, is this normal? it sounds like a gun going off, even when i'm not flooring it. Maybe its normal, but i'd prefer it if someone told me it's normal.

backfiring and popping is a sign of overfueling normally, however i believe all scoobs do this?

 

hey i have a nurspec r on my 97
and it back fires a lot n very very loud like proper gun shots. i was a bit worried to lol
but as far as i see it its normal

 

Yeah it normal mate.

I had the same on my 99 import wagon, especially when it was really hot.
I loved it. Its not as frequent or as loud on my current motor but still does it.

 

Phew, thats a relief. Yeah i got the blitz super sound one on there, it sounds awesome. Let the noise continue!!
