sti coil pack?

Default sti coil pack?

Newbie question. Got the annoying idle prob. changing the plugs tomorrow but wanted to do the coil pack (the 1 in the middle?) can't seem to find any for sale. can anyone please. the car is a 97 TYPE R 3dr. also been recommend not to use denso plugs and use the ngk's. the car is modified but don't no exact spec internally. thanks for reading

ive got the same problem idling and missfiring.air flow and coil pack.try Sign In or david hendry cars for all your new parts there quite resonoble01666824369.hope dat helps

WILL DO CHEERS. SO ANNOYING! ONLY SLIGHT MISFIRE BUT STALLS WHEN U STOP. AM I RIGHT THAT IT ONLY HAS 1 COIL PACK?

Could be the Maff sensor

maf works ok stalls when disconnected. will do plugs tomorrow and. might even b a change in fuel. will have the bat disconnected while im doin the plugs

Doesn't anyone ever look at the idle control valve when you've got an idle problem? The way everyone on SN avoids mentioning it, it must be the most reliable component out there. People must spend so much effort and money replacing every single device in the engine bay except the one which directly controls idle LOL!
