fmic and headers help!?

fmic and headers help!?
im having the above fitted tomorrow.i contacted a local subaru specialist to ask for their advice regarding a remap.they said the classic ecu will be able to cope with the mods and i wouldnt need a remap can somebody explain to me what i should do as tommorow theyll be on

Mine (uk spec MY99), was running with 3" exhaust, FMIC, VF22 turbo and a boost controller more than happily.
And making over 300bhp.
Just reset the ECU and drive steady for 50 miles to make sure you get the best from it.

As above,it may cope,but after spending all that cash on your motor,and not get the most out of it with a re-map seems daft. You'd be supprised how much power you'd gain from this and a set of larger injectors.

ive got an apexi power fc,blitz boost controller and some 440s to go on as well.i could have the 440s fitted tomorrow but i thought it would run roughly with them in before the remap.the place that are mapping it for me cant fit me in until july so thats why i wanted to know if it would be ok.

It is very unwise to run an FMIC on boost without a remap regardless of what anybody else says so get it mapped before you start running it on boost but if you have injectors or anything else to fit get that done and you only need one remap because you cannot change injectors without a remap either.
