Default ECUTek Valet Mode

Hi.

MY07 WRX

Just had new pistons fitted. Had my car mapped by AndyF in December. Will my car have "valet mode"?

If so, how do I set it up?

I've tried his mobile. Must be out on a job. Will keep trying. If it does have it, any idea how to enable it?

Cheers

Andy just confirmed that the 2.5 ECU doesn't have this function.

Just have to be gentle with my right foot. Sigh!

Case closed!

connect actuator to compressor cover with one piece of hose rather than the T piece / restrictor etc.. then you can't get too carried away

Good idea - less boost means the car will accelerate slower. But, it is the revs you need to keep down not the boost itself - so don't compensate for a lack of "go" by revving it. Also, you should try to drive on boost where possible to avoid "ring flutter" - "honest Officer!"
