SimTek ECU is fairly new on the market and is a fantastic bit of equipment. Continued use of Antilag will kill your turbo and makes temperatures under the bonnet go through the roof. Buts its ok if you just use it now and again as a toy for the ocassional bit of fun. Type R is a great choice too.

Its a gimmick on the road really as you won't really benefit from it. As it keeps the turbo spinning at max boost when you lift off, it generates loads of heat. Don't really think theres anything you can do to reduce the temperatures, just protect everything around the turbo. My mate has it on his Escort Cossie and it kept melting the throttle cable so he had it sleeved in heat proof sleeving. I run a Front Mount Inter Cooler and its a little more laggy than a Top Mount Inter Cooler, but not too much. If your worried about turbo lag stick with a STi 8 top mount, these are good for 400bhp.
