I bought mine from Subaru as i got bored of looking for one everywhere else.
Ok it was not dirt cheap, but it is the correct and proper part.
Looking at that picture there is no rubber seal with that at all.
As per your WRX one, the STi one has a rubber seal that goes around it also.
If you do order one, make sure you get all the bits you need. i.e. plastic clips for both the rubber to tray fixing and for the underbonnet matting stuff, as this needs cutting slightly to fit the STi tray and hence the big plastic clips break to get them out.
17 odd clips to fit the rubber to the tray, and a couple of big clips for the bonnet heat/noise reduction covering.
Dont forget the STi bonnet scoop too if you are doing it 'properly'.
I know some have not done this and i dont know what difference this could make in real terms. But in cost terms it makes a bloody big difference! LOL

I don't think that ebay one looks too good, to be honest. The standard one "fills" the scoop way better than that would do, so I'm not sure if that would funnel the air as well.

You could do what I did - I got an STI undertray from Jap Performance Parts (next day delivery). I wanted to keep the WRX scoop, so I chopped the "scoop" part off from the wrx undertray and fitted it with rivets to the STI one. Now I've got a nice mongrel that fits both ends

I didn't bother with all the undertray messing around... the STi Top mount is really very good and I tooled around at 325 BHP with the bugeye WRX undertray but went for the STi Scoop to keep things cooler LOL

Another vote for Jap Performance Parts in Crawley, I drove down there and picked one up for about £40ish (can't remember now, getting old ) Came with the rubber skirt and was just a case of unscrewing the WRX one and replacing. It's supossed to make a fair difference for the STi cooler along with the STi scoop
