I need to tackle replacing my heater matrix at the weekend as mine has finally given up the ghost and flooded my car Does anyone have any tips on removing the dash or any other part of the job?
My car is a 95 wrx

you can if you don't mind cutting the pipes and using rubber and jubilee pipes get the old one out and the new one in without removing the dash.. just removing the section of heater etc...

You can also continue to use the car if you bypass the matrix.

Its ideal weather atm to do a dash swap. If you start early you should be finished by the afternoon.

Thanks for the replies, i'll have a read through those links now. I have bypassed it for now but as mentioned it is ideal to get on and do it when the weather is good. Looks like i have a fun weekend ahead, i have the matrix to do, the plugs and coil packs need doing and the brake servo and master cylinder are being replaced Looks like a few crates of beer will be needed to help me on my way :d
