Default fuel sender unit

Hi guys, i have recently purchased a wrx classic 95 which has been sat for two years with no fuel in the tank. I have just put £30 in the car and it has barely registered on the fuel gauge(about 2 segments above empty). Is it possible that the sender unit could be seized up? How do i get access to the fuel sender on my car? Is it a tank out job?
thanks ..lee

you will have to remove the cover panel in the boot (the one on the right just behind the rear seat) once you have removed that you will see what will need to be done from there.

Thanks for the help Mark I'm glad to hear it is not a tank out job. I'll try and sort it after work tomorrow
