what oil after a rebuild?

From: throwing pieces oot a 20 storey flat
Default what oil after a rebuild?

Cars done 700 miles now after being rebuilt,driving like miss daisy sucks but getting near the end of the run in period what oil should i use,is it safe to go straight from the semi synthetic stuff thats in it from the rebuild to a fully synthetic like i was using before or should i stick with the semi for a bit longer?

Probably stick with non synthetics untill a couple of thoundsand, maybe even 5-6000miles. Dont drive the like a **** but dont fanny around in it. Bedding in the engine takes time to do properly, especially the pistons & rings.

But I'd tend to ask the guy that rebuilt/should warranty the engine
