as above looking to buy a sti block for a rebuild project can any one tell me how i can tell if the block is definately a sti v7 sti block .

is the spec c block v7 different and how would i tell the difference .

here are the code and the engine number -

S20C 701 R20, engine number is B480470

please advise if you can ,

I thought the Spec C had identical blocks/pistons etc

just the heads are different. I stand to be corrected though
