Default 96 uk turbo 2000 help plz

hi there bought a new turbo 2000 estate yesterday, was driving fine all day, i switched it off and came back an hour later and started it up. at this point the car was idling at 200rpm and when i put the accelerator down nothing would happen after 15seconds the car switched off and wouldnt start up again. i thought it may be fuel so i put in another 2 petrol cans of v power and now the car doesnt start up at all. have done the ecu check and it comes up with an error 45 and 53. would anyone be able to tell me what these mean as i have come across some sites that say fuel pump and some say immobiliser syster. and 45 is the starter switch. what is wrong??? thanks for any help

45 pressure sensor
53 Unregistered key

so i would guess a fault with your immobiliser would be the first thing to check.

i rang the local subaru garage regarding the key and they don't know what the codes mean he went to check it up and give me a call back. he said that if the key was the problem then the engine check light would be flashing on start up which it doesn't. how do i got about checking the pressure sensor??? thanks for the help
