Default Oil Leak - Pretty major!

Hi, got a 93 classic the other week. On the drivers side, there seemed to be a small oil leak that was leaking onto the exhaust manifold which has got progressively worse through the week.
Ordered the rocker cover gaskets for the drivers side.
Yesterday it actually caught alight on the manifold where the oil was dripping onto it. Managed to put it out as soon as it started though!

It goes on though, around the sump area there seems to be a lot of oil dripping from around there and maybe more to the right, as the oil stains in the road suggest. Anyone know if there is a common oil leek round here I should be on the look out for? I smelt it and it definetely wasn't gearbox oil.

Oil return pipe from the turbo to r/h cylinder head.
Cam cover gaskets/half moons as you mentioned.
Rear Main Oil Seal.
Oil breather/seperator plate behind the flywheel.
Sump Sealant.

You need to steam clean the old oil off and run it for a bit to see if you can
pinpoint the actual leak.

Thanks Merlin, towing it to my mechanic tonight.

Been advised not to steam clean it though as it could get the electronics damp.

Hi mate sounds like the same leak as i just fixed on my 94 import on taking the rocker cover gasket off there wasnt ant thing wrong with it but the bottom half moon rubber bung has been bodged in and was leaking progressivly more and more onto the up pipe to turbo and leaking onto the floor through the heat shield.
i took the gasket off and seeing there was'nt anything wrong with it cleaned all up rocker cover replaced the gasket into the channels and re-seated the half moon thing and sealed with black sealant.
up to now no more oil on the exhaust

hope this helps
