Put an ad in the WANTED section and see what you get offered.
Also check Ebay for Impreza's breaking/salvage. You can usually pick up something in this area.
Jap performance parts also have a few 2nd hand downpipes for sale too.

What is this exactly and what others are available (should avoid)

I have seen some on ebay - from companies such as EP racing - £99.
Are these any good for the money?? compared to the more expensive options!

I'm having issues with EP over some rusty bits that were supplied with a quick shift (B&M clone/bootleg). Their customer service is crap, so avoid like the plague!
A better option would be to go for a Scoobyworld Ninja sports cat, then at least you can decat the centre section and stay legal. Just ordered mine today :-)

Mate
Fitted a complete H&S system not two weeks ago, had it mapped by JGM yesterday, sounds the business and fits perfectly, can't fault it.
I bought the entire thing from scoobyworld. The downpipe was about 180 i think

The same as a bellmouth i think, the downpipe has a full open neck at the top of it (mouth) and not partially blocked off.... better to get rid of the exhaust gases

Another vote for H&S - also on an RB5 - well made etc.
