Default Fitting a electric boost controller and ecu chip

hi guys, i am going to fit an electric boost controller to my sti and was thinking what would be the benefits of uprating the ecu, i.e chip / remap.

as i would controlle the boost what els would i get out of it.

also my sti is hitting 271hp with a full decat and pannel filter, any ideas of what i would get by adding the boost controller (1bar) and a chipped ecu.

thanks david

I'd just stick with the chip first. Speak to one of the tuners and go from there. A good chip should see you at anywhere between and 280 and 310 bhp if everything is working as it should be. The ESL live board could be the way to go.
