Hi, and welcome! 0.8 bar is about 11 psi, which is right for your car. If you up the boost without chipping/changing the ecu,or fitting a fuel cut defender, you'll get fuel cut.
Best option is to fit a chip, this will up the boost to 16psi,or 1.1 bar.It will also adjust your fueling to suit, and make running on UK fuel safer. Will also de limit the car if not allready done(assuming it's an import?)
Give scott a bell from polar performance,he's on hear someware! Also sells on ebay.

WRX/STi Saloon ECU's 2C, U8, W6, W9 - As above, 11.47psi held to redline. Fuel-cut 14.57psi.

make sure the car is running fine at the mo a quick trip to a rolling road can give you a health check.

I had a fuel cut on mine, but mine is running TD05 turbo with full boost at 22psi now. Before it was running 26psi and cutting like a pig, the solution was some perforated hose from the actuator. Installed new hose and good as anything now. Now reaching 22psi consistently at 3000 rpm then tailing off to 19psi.
As stated it does depend on your mods, so use 0.8 as a benchmark as standard.
