Default do they sound like this

i have changed the headers on the car to stainless steal ones and found that they were blowing from the aftermarket gaskets i bought so i got the original gaskets and fitted them and re checked after re fitting and problem solved but when i took it for a spin as i accelarate it sounds like its blowing but i checked them and they are fine and no blowing from the exhaust anywhere so could it be something wrong somewhere else like heads/cams ect or will it sound different now there are different headers on there any help would be greatfull thanks

its like a tiny blowing noise

hi, i fitted a set of stainless headers on my mr2 turbo and they blew on the block so i replaced the gasket but still did it so i took off again and the actual plate wasnt flat so had its skimmed , re-fitted and the noise was still there but it turned out to be just the noise them pipes made and i ended up going back to standard manifold, so i guess it was just thin stainless tube.

You could wrap them to dampen the noise
