Default Engine colour coding?

I want my engine looking sexy but don't really know where to start. I know you can buy coloured pipes etc for your engine and chrome washer bottle and oil lids etc etc, was wondering if anyone has done that? does it make your engine look that much smarter? or does anyone know of a garage that neatens your engine up for you?

Sorry if i'm chatting crap!

You can paint the Inlet Manifold to tart it up but stay away from painting the engine block - better to leave it bare to aid heat dissapation.
If the engine is out and Inlet Manifold is off,you can use some rotary brushes in a drill to clean the Aluminium Corrosion off the block.
