Default hawkeye sti

hi all. looking for some advice on a good exhaust system inc up pipe. am i right in thinking a 3" bore system is the one to go for ? to release some hp on my 55 plate sti. totaly standard at the mo. to start with just want to replace exhaust system. sort the induction side. up rated fuel pump ? and a re-map. thinking of using prosport stockport. any reccomendations regarding above would be a great help

Are you getting the remap straight after fitting the full exhaust? If not take it easy on the boost as it will go up to engine knackering levels, so I'm told.
I'm also told that flow-wise, the Milltek system is the best sports-catted system, and the RCMS exhaust is the best non-catted system.
Mapper-wise, I'd use Bob or Andy without hesitation.
STi panel filter works well on these engines and a Walbro 255l/hr fuel pump is a must, you can get them for around £65 now i think, just have a good search on t'internet

thanks for the input i have used bob last year for my bugeye what a top bloke wish i had his knowledge.was thinking of prosport only as it is localish and bob aint. as for the mods i will get it remapped straight away. looks like it will be the rcms system. thanks again.
