Hey guys!

First post from a new Scooby owner (had my '06 STI for 2 months now)...

Long story short - thanks to Greenlight's very helpful attitude towards mods I'm looking to make some improvements to my car. It will mainly be used on the road with some trips to the track thrown in for good measure!

First on the list, suspension. On a recent 'Ring visit I discovered loads of understeer followed by a tendancy for snap oversteer - not ideal! I've heard very good things about the Tein Mono Flex kit, anyone got any experience of this on '06 STIs? Alternatively, anyone got any other suspension kits they think are worth a look?

Next, engine upgrade. Been speaking to Graham Goode Racing. They offer an ECU upgrade, induction kit, exhaust system and fuel pump for around £2300, which they claim should result in 373bhp and 501Nm. Again, anyone had personal experience of this upgrade in terms of value for money, reliability, driveability and whether those power/torque claims are realistic? Again, alternatives in the same performance increase bracket gratefully received.

Finally, brakes. With extra power I feel better anchors would be a smart move, especially with muggins here at the wheel! Are 330mm discs that fit my standard 17inch wheels worth it over the standard brembos? If not, are 362mm discs (and the 19inch wheels they require) worth the outlay, bearing in mind fast road use is the bulk of my requirement? Concerned that bigger wheels might negatively effect the ride quality - thoughts?
