Default Upgrading turbo

After some advise

I am looking into changing my standard TD04 turbo on an MY98 uk model.
My supporting mods at the moment are full decat exhaust, ported oem headers and up-pipe,an STI8 top mount intercooler,Walbro 255 fuel pump and Apexi Power FC ecu mapped at 1.1 bar by Simon at Jolly Green Monster.

Just don't know what turbo would suit better,i like the quick spool up of the TD04,but would possibly like to take car up to say 320bhp in the future, would i also need to uprate the injectors, and if so which injectors would be best.

Thanks in advance guys !!!

i have a uk my98 full decat, green panel filter, apexi powerfc mapped by jollygreenmonster at 1.2 bar,now ive gone for the vf35 (straight swap),walbro fuel pump,440 injectors another remap by jollygreenmonster, now running 1.4 bar, what a difference pulls all the way to the redline, alot more torque, also very quick spool,

injectors and fuel pump are a must really if you want more power and response. have you thought about a hybrid td05?

You can get a hydrid TD04 which will keep the quick spool up and also handle 320bhp. Or a VF28 is good. Bit more laggy but will make power all the way to the red line

440 injectors from a MY99/00 will handle 320bhp with an adjustable FPR.

I'd either go for a second hand VF35 ot a new AFP4H, either will give you 320hp-ish but the AFP4H will give more torque and faster spooling, the VF35 will give better top end power.

You will probably need bigger injectors (500/550cc) or an adjustable fuel pressure regulator to (Aeromotive) get 300+hp.

Will make an excellent drive with the AFP4H
