STI rear shocks
With all the posts about the knocking on the rear shock absorbers on the Blobeye STI's..........
I have had mine for 2years 2 months and it has had 3 replacements and the one that is fitted now if fooked now. The previous owner may have had some relaced too????
Why is it the rear nearside that is the worst?
Why is it just on the Blobeye?
Why do they keep replacing the duff shocks with more duff shock?
Does replacing with aftermarket ones sort it? or ones that are non STI?
Answers greatly recieved

i got the my05 sti and did exactly the same, instead of messing around with replacement shocks i opted 2 spend a lil more and went 4 the ast adjustables.. no complaints and alot more fun
2004 Bobeye Jap STI, 15k On Clock:
Same problem, chnaged op mount on N/S/R then CHanged shock on N/S/R about 2000 miles ago, and now got a small noise from the bak again, imusre its the othere side now.......... How do i explain this to some one when i try selling the car.. "Its Normal for shocks to knockmate on a impreza".
